About Rollin
Originally from Bondurant, Iowa, Rollin moved to Los Angeles in 2008 to pursue an acting career. While bartending at the Arclight Theaters, he met Zack Grey, founder of The Urban Pet. The two bonded over their shared love of animals, and when Zack needed an assistant, Rollin joined the team.
Since then, Rollin has worked closely with Zack, learning positive and motivational dog training techniques. He has assisted in group obedience classes, gaining over 1,000 hours of hands-on experience. Today, Rollin teaches his own Level 1 obedience class on Saturday mornings and also offers in-home private training sessions.
In addition to training, Rollin volunteers regularly at Best Friends Animal Society in Mission Hills and runs his own in-home dog boarding service. He’s also a familiar face at The Urban Pet, where he continues to expand his knowledge in pet food and nutrition.
Rollin lives in Los Angeles with his Labradoodle, Kira, and his wife, Becca. In his free time, he enjoys hiking in Eaton Canyon and spending time with his family.
